The Winter Brain Symposium in Sils Maria is the annual retreat of the Division of Psychiatry Research and the Hospital for Psychogeriatric Medicine. The faculty staff involved in research is invited to spend four days together with prominent visiting neuroscientists in the beautiful mountains of Engadin. The retreat features daily progress talks of laboratory and clinical investigators to expolore the research advances followed by individual discussions on the slopes. The schedule is completed by key note lectures of leading scientists in the field in the evenings. The goal is to promote multidisciplinary exchange of ideas that will continue to advance dementia research and treatment.
